The Trails
THE "HORSE-THIEF" TRAILS
The first piece of the extensive trail system has been secured: the "Hide-Out" at Marr Park. We again thank the Goshen Twp. Park Commissioners Brian Fick; Lisa Seyfried; Jennifer Geary and Joe Spaulding.
From this center point, the GHTD will begin acquiring easements from property owners to piece together an exciting horse trail system running from Stonelick Lake, through the "Hide-Out" and Goshen's Town Center, then North, connecting with the Loveland Trails in Loveland.
It should be noted that the diagrams to the left are not yet finalized. And, there will certainly be changes made to the design depending upon individual property owner requirements.
In all, nearly 13 miles of trails (our first leg) will be constructed. There will be no tax dollars spent. The project will be completed by using volunteer efforts and private donations.
